Marius was checking if the VPN is up&running from our internal infrastructure, but we need to be sure that everything works as expected from a client perspective.
If you just want to check if the VPN is still up, please use this command:
sudo nmap vpn.ctf365.com -p 1194 -Pn -sU
➜ test sudo nmap vpn.ctf365.com -p 1194 -Pn -sU
Starting Nmap 7.30 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2017-03-05 15:30 EET
Nmap scan report for vpn.ctf365.com (188.8.131.52)
Host is up.
rDNS record for 184.108.40.206: ip102.ip-137-74-230.eu
PORT STATE SERVICE
1194/udp open|filtered openvpn
You will need to be root, because this way it's possible to create ICMP raw socket packets.
Our VPN is running on UDP and not TCP, but nmap is scanning by default the tcp.
Related to the connectivity problems, we are investigating.
